From the Pastor
Greetings,
You can tell a lot about the health of a parish based on its children. Nearly ten years ago, when St. Stanislaus was on the verge of closure; the parish saw two Baptisms in five years. In the last year alone, I baptized twenty-four.
Our beloved parish has been restored to new life. Together, we have been able to accomplish so many improvements over the past ten years. We erected our beautiful high altar, restored our stained-glass windows, brought to life new side altars, renewed our baptistry, and revitalized our grotto, to name just a few. All the while, preserving our sacred patrimony in music, liturgy, and doctrine.
With grace overflowing at St. Stanislaus, the parish needs your support of our capital campaign to steward and sustain our home.
And with your help raising $1,700,000 over the next three years through our campaign, Resurrectio Ad Vitam Novam, the remaining work will come to fruition.
When we all come together to make this happen, you will also see the reward of our labors as we:
Ensure the structural integrity of the loft housing our beautiful choir
Create a proper narthex/social space
Provide a space for parents and little ones to retreat when needed
Install an enclosed confessional on the narthex north side
Renovate our lower-level community space, and adding a new caterer’s kitchen
Furnish expanded restrooms, to include increased capacity women’s and men’s restrooms as well as a dedicated family bathroom
Construct shrines for St. Anthony, St. Thérèse, and St. Anne
Refinish our pews and reupholster the kneelers
Finally get rid of that green carpet…
I am so grateful for you and all you do to make our parish so special. Thank you for your consideration of our efforts.
Explore the website, you will find more detailed information about what you can expect to see throughout the Resurrectio campaign and how your participation will make it all possible.
You may also contact me directly at pastor@ststanparish.com, or 574.233.1217, to further discuss your involvement and arrange a tour.
May the new life with which our parish has been blessed continue to thrive through our Lord’s providence, your support, and the intercession of St. Stanislaus and St. Peter.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
The Rev. Msgr. John C. Fritz, FSSP
