Phase One
Choir Loft Structural Support & Lower Level Renovation
- Remedy structural concerns with regard to the choir loft balcony
- Demolition of existing kitchen and two single bathrooms
- Remove old bar, existing millwork, plumbing fixtures and associated piping, exhaust hood, and associated ductwork
- Remove existing ceiling and ceiling grid
- Remove existing flooring and subflooring
- Upsize the sewer lift station to handle increased capacity
- Construction of two multi-stall bathrooms, a family bathroom, and a caterer’s kitchen
- Install new grid and ceiling tile
- Replace with new subflooring and luxury vinyl tile finished flooring
- Install new drinking fountain with bottle filler, to be located next to the caterer’s kitchen
- New lighting throughout with occupancy sensors


Phase Two
Narthex
- Demolition of existing portions of north choir loft stairs and handrail
- Removal of existing flooring, ceiling trim, lighting under choir loft, and entry railing
- Safely store affected statuary, pews, and mounted holy water fonts
- Construction of a new acoustical wall and installation of new light fixtures
- Construction of new confessional
- Install new flooring
- Install statuary plinths and niches with devotional lighting
- Replace entry railing with bronze handrails
- Refinish of existing trim work and doors in area
Phase Three
Nave
- Removal of existing flooring to be coordinated with temporary pew removal and reinstallation
- Installation of new flooring, including all floor preparation required to accomplish required level tolerances per option product
- Refinish of stained-glass framing including two windows in the narthex
- Refinish of existing trim work
- Installation of wainscot paneling
- Pews to be refinished with a darker wood stain
- Kneelers to be reupholstered in burgundy
* Work in the nave is to be completed in quadrants so as not to reduce seating capacity less than 75% for each affected Sunday Mass.
